Milner Sources for Researching Market and Consumer Trends

  • ABI / Inform Global
    Click on the topic "Browse" feature (upper part of page) to drill down to the "Business & Industry" topic path. Click on "Marketing" and then "Marketing & Customer Services" to explore articles in marketing strategy. Alternatively, you may search for articles on the industry by entering 32229* in the "NAICS" search box. Enter terms like "men" and "target markets" and search by subject for research on that segment.
  • Business Source Complete
    To find global Datamonitor industry reports, set Document Type to "Industry Overview" and Publication Type to "Industry Profile." Enter keywords in the search boxes (e.g. "face" / "facial" / "skin" or "personal hygiene"). Also, do keyword phrase searches such as "men's grooming" to get articles on trends in this area. Many Industry Profiles have "Five Forces" analyses. For Datamonitor company reports, click on "Company Profiles" link (top of screen). Many Company Profiles have SWOT analyses.
